I wanted to thank you so much for all of your hard work in preparation for our Punta Cana wedding! Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and Pete and I had an amazing time. I didn't want to leave! The Excellence was everything I had dreamed and more...the food was out of this world, the hotel service was professional and friendly, and our wedding coordinator did everything she could to make our day special and memorable. Salentine Travel gave us pretty much nothing to worry about. They booked the flights and after we went over the wedding package we wanted, they worked with the resort to get everything ready. Aimee and I didn't have to do much at all!

Excellence Resort, Punta Cana

"There were some problems on our honeymoon, and if not for all the wonderful help by Kim Guse at Salentine Travel, we would have been overseas all alone. It was so comforting having Kim as my advocate while away. First our flight was delayed, so we missed our connection. I called Kim and before we even arrived in the Dominican Republic, our stay was extended to make up for the day we lost. Kim had been in touch with the resort and airline and took care of it all for us. Sadly while there my new wife took ill. As soon as I requested our trip was shortened again by Kim, back in the U.S. She called the airlines and got our flights changed AGAIN. We couldn't appreciate enough the time and attention Kim paid to our situation.

Hi Kim, Thanks for checking up on us. Our wedding and honeymoon were amazing!! We couldn't have asked for better. The Magestic Elegance resort was beautiful and we had a great time there! The junior suite was very nice, the food was good, service was good, activities were good, offered excursions were great (we did the Bavaro Splash excursion and the 4-wheeler excursion), and the cleanliness of the resort was top notch. Anyways, you were great!

Dreams Puerto Vallarta

"Dreams Puerto Vallarta was wonderful. Everyone was thrilled by the resort--the rooms, food, restaurants and facilities. The staff was great. It was perfect. The wedding flowers and cake were gorgeous and the gazebo looked amazing! The photographer, Roberto, was great! He pulled natural smiles out of everyone. There is no way I would ever try and arrange a destination wedding alone! I don't know what I would have done without Kim. Everyone that booked through Kim thought she was very helpful and loved her quick responses. Thanks you so much for your help--our wedding was wonderful and everyone's already talking about when we should all go back!"

More comments from the groom's mother: The trip and the wedding were absolutely amazing! There really isn't a word for just how beautiful the wedding was, from the ceremony itself to the reception and dinner, all just as wonderful as could be, very well planned and stress free as far as details. Prior to the wedding, the girls had "Louis" come and bring champagne to the room, the gals had a great time with him! We ALL enjoyed our time at Ocean Blue. I thank you so much for helping with all of the planning and finding the perfect location for Adam and Britt's wedding. It really couldn't have been any better! We found it to be an amazing place, had everything you could possibly need at a resort, beautiful layout and grounds, great rooms, restaurants with wonderful food and something for everyone, even the "not so adventurous appetite"! Very romantic and family friendly at the same time. It's apparent that this wedding trip captured our hearts and will always be the trip to remember in so many ways. Thank you again for putting this together for all of us, it was A+++++!

Hawaii--Kauai & Maui

"Hi Kim! We had such a great time in Hawaii, and were so grateful for your help in finding the best places for us! In Kauai we rented a car and did a lot of the activities including the helicopter ride, the kayaking trip a luau and snorkling. We would recommend those activities to everyone especially the helicopter ride! The views were amazing and the pictures we took turned out incredible! The Hilton was very nice but meals were expensive! Once we rented a car we were able to eat at some very fun places on the beach! Without a car in Kauai at the Hilton we would not have experienced much since the beach was (as you said) rocky and nothing was in walking distance from the resort. In Maui we LOVED the Royal Lahaina mainly for the great ocean view. It was beautiful and Whaler Village shopping mall was in walking distance and had great restaurants, and old town Lahaina was just a short bus ride away. We loved the touristy and tropical feel there and felt it was the perfect contrast to Kauai. The rooms were so nice since they had been renovated and I would only recommend the towers in comparison to the cottages. The beach there was beautiful, and in my opinion better than the surrounding resorts (Westin, Sheraton, etc.) Thanks again for all your help and we look forward to working with you in the future!
